PLEASE NOTE: Our 2020-21 season is a wrap! We are now planning toward our 2021-22 season, which we are hoping to run as normal, including Little Rocks. Please contact email@example.com if you have any questions or would like more info about next season.
And don’t forget to follow along on our Facebook page or email us if you wish to be put on our mailing list.
Saturdays: 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm (October to March – 15 to 18 weeks). Sessions will be approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours long (except Little Rocks, which will be 45 minutes). Exact times and duration will be determined later this summer.
The Royal City Curling Club has programs for children ages 6 and up.
We have “little rocks” for our smaller curlers, and move curlers up to full size rocks when they are ready to do so. We base our program on the skills and abilities of our curlers, so we try to group them together based upon their abilities than strictly by age. Our focus in this program is skill development, and to assist with that, the Royal City Curling Club tries to have a minimum of one coach for every eight curlers (and often this ration is closer to 1 coach for every 4 curlers).
Brooms and “sliders” are provided, and a limited number of used curling shoes may be available to be signed out for the season.
Please note that Curling Canada and Royal City CC recommends that curlers under the age of 12 and all new curlers wear a CSA-approved helmet for ice sports. Royal City CC does not provide helmets or have them available for rent.

We recommend that you email us in advance to ensure a spot for your curler.
