We have 6 sheets of ice, located in a residential area of the City of New Westminster. The lower lounge has a viewing area and kitchen that are open during the curling season. The air conditioned upstairs lounge has a full service bar, capable of seating 135 people and is available to rent all year long. We also have a pool table, shuffleboard, dartboards, as well as big screen TVs and a great dance floor. The oak furniture and woodwork makes it a warm and inviting room for any occasion.

ICE RENTAL RATES & INFORMATION
2 Hours – $100 per sheet plus GST
1 Hour – $65 per sheet plus GST
Instruction – $40 per instructor for two hour session. One instructor per group of 8 or less. Private one on one instruction and rates available upon Request
Our curling club welcomes all types of groups for team building events, family functions, club and group outings and similar. Our doors are also open to individuals that wish to rent ice for a fun game or practice.
FACILITY: We have six sheets of curling ice that will accommodate up to 48 curlers per session.
CURLING TEAMS: A curling team is comprised of four players who compete against four other players on a curling sheet of ice. A game is typically played with 8 curlers on a single sheet of ice. For group functions, one curler more or less per team is workable.
CORPORATE/GROUP FUNCTIONS: Normally, a 2 hour booking. For the first hour we arrange for “Learn to Curl” instruction to teach the group how to curl followed by a one hour fun game with the same instructors present to give tips, explain the rules etc. All equipment such as brooms, grippers and sliders are provided.
CLOTHING ATTIRE: Clean soft soled running/athletic shoes of indoor use variety are the best footwear. Soles need to be free of dirt and pebbles. Boots, dress shoes and heels are not safe to wear on the ice surface. Clothing should be warm, lose or stretchy fitting. Layers are best. Jeans are not recommended.
AFTERWARD: The Club has a licensed Lounge which your group is welcome to use on a shared basis. Private Lounge bookings are also welcome subject to availability. In addition, we have an in-house kitchen that serves soups, burgers, sandwiches and the like. Formal catering is available from the same in-house kitchen, Golly’s Gourmet Foods, 778-882-3807.
