Saturdays from 12:30 – 4-4:30 pm (2 Sessions – #1 – 12:30 to 2 pm, #2 – 2:30 to 4 pm – note that the exact time will shift from week to week to accommodate COVID-19 requirements and may run as late as 4:30 pm)
NOTE: Most newer curlers will be placed into Session #2 this season.
This group will include new and newer curlers and younger curlers with previous experience, such as those who are moving up from Little Rocks. Curlers will be group together based upon their abilities, and may be moved to different groups as they progress through the season, including to the “Junior” group.
Intermediate curlers throw full-weight rocks down a full sheet of ice.
Each session starts with a short warm up and discussion. Curlers should be ready to step on the ice at the start of their session, and are allowed in the rink no more than 20 minutes prior to their specific start time. The sessions will vary and include drills and games, with a focus on building the skills required to curl.
Due to COVID-19, we have had to suspend our unscripted social time, including hot chocolate and cookies until further notice. Curlers will be given approximately 10 minutes after the session to leave the facility in order to allow the next session or draw to enter.
