Season: Begins early October
Time: This league curls approx. every second Sunday from 3:00pm-4:30pm
Mixed doubles is now in the Olympics! So RCCC has the wonderful idea to create a brand new league. We welcome all skills levels and all team makeups, male and female, or same gender people as this will be an open league.
We will follow WCF Curling Rules R15 “Mixed Doubles Curling”:
1. A team must forfeit any game(s) in which it fails to have two players for the entire game
2. Games may be eight ends or 1.5 hour.
3. Each team shall deliver five stones per end. The player delivering the team’s first stone of the end must also deliver the team’s last stone of that end. The other team member shall deliver the
team’s second, third and fourth stones for that end. The player delivering the first stone can change from end to end.
4. The fourth stone may be used to knock out other stones, the first three stones must be played without knocking out any stones or they will be replaced.
