YouTube Streaming

Royal City Curling Club operates the YouTube Stream Automation application to automate the scheduling and management of live video streams for curling events held at Royal City Curling Club.

The application integrates Royal City Curling Club’s Google Calendar with its YouTube channel. Authorized calendar events provide scheduling information used by the automation system to prepare and manage the corresponding YouTube live broadcasts.

The application uses Google OAuth 2.0 authorization to access an authorized Royal City Curling Club Google Calendar on a read-only basis and to manage live-streaming operations on the Royal City Curling Club YouTube account.

The system is operated for Royal City Curling Club’s live-streaming activities and is not offered as a public consumer application.
